He has been seen in popular TV programs such as "Tareq Taylor's Nordic Cookery", SVT's "Matresan" and "Trädgårdstider". In 2017, Tareq took home a win in "Kokkarnas Kamp" and in the same year received the award "Best Malmö Ambassador". In 2021 he won he two "Kristallen", including "TV personality of the year". In the same year, he also received the honorable assignment as SVT's Christmas host.

 

Tareq has written a number of cookbooks with tasty and inspiring recipes. He gives appreciated lectures on the subjects "Food culture" and "Entrepreneur's journey". In addition to that, Tareq also runs his own restaurant "Kockeriet" in Malmö, is a co-founder of the world's first circular frying pan company "ONEPan" and also of "Maten é klar" which prepares ready meals completely without additives.

 

In 2022, Tareq fulfilled his childhood dream and for the first time dared to stand on a stage and sing for someone other than himself. In front of the Swedish people, he sang wearing a fairy tree in the TV program "Masked Singer", where he took home second place. After that, he once again stood on the stage. This time together with one of Svergie's best singing voices, Sarah Dawn Finer. Together they spread Christmas cheer on Hamburger Bör's stage throughout December.
